Founded in 1925, CHS NYC is Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration oldest and largest regional alumni chapter. The Chapter's primary goal is to provide a forum of educational and networking opportunities for our members to achieve both their career and personal goals. The Chapter organizes over two dozen events a year for alumni and students; it has raised over $100,000 for scholarships since 2006, manage one of the most unique scholarships in the Ivy's focused on provided students with real-industry experiences (see attached article), and has provided another $150,000 in endowments.

 

 

The Cornell Hotel Society is the alumni association for the School of Hotel Administration. It is considered one of the preeminent collegiate alumni institutions in the world with nearly 80 percent alumni participation, the highest of any universities. The society, which currently has 60 chapters worldwide, promotes the interests of the entire School community and fosters fellowship, education, professionalism, and training among its members. Alumni actively support the school's mission through scholarships, recruiting and hiring graduates, providing internships to students, and helping to identify the best and brightest students for the program. By reputation, the CHS is one of the most tightly knit alumni organizations in the industry.
